I am currently exploring UX/UI Design at Designit Oslo. Throughout the years, I moved around quite a lot (Austria, China, Netherlands, Sweden and now Norway).

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • While working at Designit, I've contributed to various projects by crafting user stories, wireframes, and illustrations, while also collaborating closely with clients and developers to bring ideas to life. My experience spans from educational storytelling for a leading toy company to visualizing innovative concepts for sustainable wind turbine production. Outside of work, I explore my passions in illustration, 3D animation, and creative experimentation, enriching both my personal and professional growth.

  • At Ming Labs, I transitioned from a UX/UI Design Intern to a UI/UX Freelancer, where I took on significant responsibilities, often working independently. I led a complex project for a TV channel's advertisement department, managing stuff from client communication to developer coordination, and successfully delivered a tool that streamlined their ad sales process. This role taught me how to juggle multiple tasks, manage client expectations, and handle project timelines effectively, all while enhancing my skills in Figma, Miro, and remote collaboration

  • As a co-founder of Feral Malmö, my role was primarily focused on visual storytelling, supporting our collective’s mission to explore more-than-human-centered design. I contributed by creating illustrations for our Instagram account and workshop materials, and by helping to screenprint stories that highlighted the often-overlooked beings in Malmö, such as crows, insects, and plants. While I was more of a background participant, observing and learning from my colleagues' expertise, this experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of the subject and refine my skills in visual storytelling.

  • At Van Berlo, I worked on diverse projects, including stroller usability research, product renderings, and prototyping. My responsibilities spanned from creating innovative packaging designs to contributing to tugboat interior projects. This experience sharpened my skills in tools like SolidWorks and Adobe Illustrator and introduced me to UX design, sparking my interest in creating thoughtful user experiences. The internship was a turning point, leading me to pursue further studies in Interaction Design and broadening my understanding of what design can encompass.

EDUCATION

  • I completed my Master’s in Interaction Design at Umeå Institute of Design, where I developed a strong interest in experimental, poetic, and exploratory approaches to design. The program encouraged hands-on prototyping and working with both physical and digital materials—ranging from Arduino to immersive projections. My thesis focused on the aesthetics of shared memories and culminated in an interactive experience where people could walk through and embody memories together. It was at UID that I truly learned the value of user research and began shaping my own perspective as a designer who moves fluidly between technology, emotion, and interaction.

  • I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from FH Joanneum in Graz, where I developed a deep appreciation for the aesthetics, semantics, and physicality of design. The program gave me hands-on experience in prototyping, CAD (SolidWorks, Rhino), and materials, working with everything from wood and clay to 3D printing. One of my favorite projects was a collaboration with Pari, where I designed a powder inhaler for children that used an inflatable membrane to assist with inhalation, a blend of technical function and user empathy.

My time in Graz opened up the world of physical design to me and laid the foundation for my later shift toward interaction design, where I could explore not just objects, but the relationships people build with them.

  • During my Bachelor’s studies, I spent a semester abroad at Tongji University in Shanghai, studying in the Design and Innovation program. The structure was open and exploratory, allowing me to dive into a variety of courses, from visual identity and Maya 3D modeling to traditional woodblock printing and Chinese language.

I also took an introductory course on AI, curious about its potential and aware of how rapidly the field was evolving.

  • Before my bachelor’s, I completed a course in Book and Editorial Design at the New Design University in St. Pölten. It was the first time I fully immersed myself in a design project from layout and typography to illustration and print production.

I created a book titled Handbook, which I researched through interviews, wrote and illustrated myself, and fully produced right down to printing and hand-binding the final copy.

  • attended the HLP Mödling in the field of Product Management and Presentation, which gave me my first real introduction to design. Through a broad mix of subjects including product and media design, I discovered my passion for creative work and visual thinking.
